Parks improvement programme

This is a £3.7million, five-year programme funded by the Council, which is dedicated to improving the infrastructure of our Parks and Open Spaces.

This is a £3.7m, 5 year Council funded programme, which is dedicated to improving the infrastructure of the Borough’s Parks and Open Spaces. The programme started in 2005 with over 50 individual projects in 36 sites. In addition to this there are some Borough park wide projects including; upgrading of lighting, improving security,new signage, public events, increasing youth facilities and public art.
