There are many sites devoted to individual artists and bands, most of them containing a range of information and archival material, as well as products to buy. The best way to find these is to use Google or other search engines using the name of the artists you are interested in

Other sites of interest are a website produced by Washington State University with a variety of links to sites, articles, genres and artists.

A similar set of sites with a wide range of links is produced by Kingwood College in Texas, covering American popular culture from 1900 through to the end of the century.
