People's Network in Richmond
The People's Network provides a nationwide network of computers for public use in libraries. Its scope has now been extended to deliver new online library services which can be used 24 hours a day from anywhere with Internet access.

Key features of the People's Network in Richmond are:
- They're free! We make no charge to use a PC, the only costs you may incur are for printing or if you buy a floppy disk, CD-R or USB memory stick. Table of miscellaneous library charges.
- They all have broadband speed Internet access.
- Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is available on all PCs.
- All libraries have at least one PC with a CD-writer and a document/image scanner attached.
- All libraries have a fully accessible PC with Dolphin SuperNova software (for screen reading and magnification) and other adaptive aids.
