Other search options include Duration or Year. Alternatively, you can Browse by Subject. - For more information on each title or to listen to a preview, choose Show Details.
- When you have selected a book, select Download this eAudiobook to start the checkout process.
- Select download quality. (CD quality is normally required if audiobooks are to be copied to a portable MP3 player).
- Save the audiobook to your PC.
(If the book starts playing in the Internet Explorer "media bar" before you are prompted to save it, you may need to turn off the "Play web media in the bar" setting under Media Options). - When the download is complete, open the eAudiobook in Windows Media Player version 9 or 10 to acquire the license.
- To copy to your portable MP3 device:
Under Windows Media Player 9, use the Copy to CD or Device feature. More detailed instructions for Windows Media Player 9.
Under Windows Media Player 10, use the Sync feature. More detailed instructions for Windows Media Player 10.
(The audiobook license agreement does not allowing the burning of CDs. You may be able to make a CD but it will not be playable). - When you have finished listening, you should manually delete the eAudiobook from your portable MP3 device and PC.
View the NetLibrary eAudiobooks demonstration (this is based on the US version of the service).
Note: we do not recommend using public computers in libraries for downloads. Downloads could be slow at peak periods and any software specific to your MP3 player cannot be installed.
