24/7 Internet library - online services

Richmond Libraries offer an increasing range of online services that can be accessed over the Internet from home or work 24 hours a day.

To get full access to our services you should have a Richmond borough library card number and 4 digit PIN.

Ask at any Richmond library if you need either.

Library catalogue: search for items across all the libraries in the London Consortium. If required, items can be reserved sent to your local branch for collection (a small charge may apply). You can also check what you have out and books can be renewed if necessary.

Online reference services: search online encyclopedias, dictionaries, biographies, newspaper archives, business information, art, music, family history databases and more. We subscribe so you don't have to.

e-books: read online books on subjects including IT, business, health, psychology.

Audiobooks: Listen to hundreds of books online including classic books by Charles Dickens and Jane Austen, plays by Shakespeare and poetry. Also available are historical books,biographies and books for children.

People's Network Enquire: your questions answered

People's Network services: ask information and reference questions, day or night, plus other nationwide library services.

InfoRich - community information: find details of local organisations and services, from martial arts to music tutors, leisure centres to lunch clubs, venues for hire to volleyball.
