Parallel Views: Black History in Richmond
30 June to 30 September
This year marks the 200th anniversary of the Slave Trade Act, which abolished the slave trade. The exhibition explores the relevance of this anniversary for our borough, uncovering local associations with slavery and its abolition. It tells of slavery in our twin town Richmond, Virginia, USA and includes works by contemporary artists.
The exhibition is accompanied by a programme of events and workshops for adults. For more information see our adult education page.
