The Gallery

Orleans House Gallery is the principal art gallery for the Borough and has established a national reputation for its innovative temporary exhibitions programme and award-winning education projects.

The permanent collection features two themed main gallery exhibitions per year, and was displayed in a special millennial display A Tour Through Time in 1999.  Exhibitions, include The Artist's Journey (199) and A River Runs Through It (2001), have displayed the collection in imaginative ways, involving and reaching a wider audience.

The collection is regularly shown in a changing display called In Focus, launched in 2000.
