Family friendly events

Come and take part in our fun events scheduled throughout the year. These are great opportunities for the whole family to get creative and learn together in the relaxed atmosphere of Orleans House Gallery.

Regular features include the Easter Bunny, Museums and Galleries Month, Twickenham Carnival, Heritage Day, Family Learning Week and The Big Draw.

Drop-in session with children and carers

Weekly drop-in sessions for under-fives and their carers

Suitable for children under 5, See Saw allows children to learn, play and explore in our multi-sensory sessions designed to encourage creativity, curiosity and develop skills in communication, co-ordination and social interaction. Sessions will include music, play materials, soft play, creative activities, stories and rhyme time in a relaxed informal environment.

See Saw takes place on two sites...

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Dad Day

Dad Day

A new free programme of fun creative activities for dads and children under 5! Cost - free!

An exciting new range of art and craft drop-in sessions held every Saturday 10am - 12pm at Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond TW9 1TP

In October 2011 children and their Dads worked with animator Chris Eales to create their own short sequences using newspaper cut-outs. See their amazing animations here!
