Hindu Festival of Colour

This year Orleans House Gallery will host Holi 2012 on Saturday 10th March. Come and throw brightly coloured pigment in the air to celebrate the end of winter and welcome in spring!

This year the festival will stretch to include new performances and market stalls in and around Twickenham, including Heath Road and Church Street. The town centre of Twickenham will become a vision of colour and excitement as performers promenade the streets, guiding the crowds to Orleans House Gallery for the play of colour.

At Orleans House Gallery brightly coloured pigment is thrown in the air in celebration of the end of winter, welcoming in spring. There is also a programme of lively performances from Bollywood dancers, Bhangra musicians and Dhol Drummers.

Performances will take place in Twickenham Town Centre from 11.30am and the main event at Orleans House Gallery will commence at 1pm.

Please note there is no parking at Orleans House Gallery and we strongly recommend travel by public transport.

Orleans House Gallery is a short walk from Twickenham station, or a bus journey from St Margaret’s or Richmond Station.

Twickenham is in zone 5 and is served by rail services from Waterloo and Clapham Junction
