Residential Services
The Residential Services section provide the following public services:
- Investigate complaints about the condition of privately rented properties.
- Investigate complaints about noise nuisance from houses or flats.
- Provide a pest control service to residents with rats or mice.
- Provide information and grants to adapt, repair and improve the energy efficiency of homes.
- Fund and monitor supported housing providers to promote independent living.
- Develop policies and plans to tackle housing problems in the borough.
- Support the provision of new affordable housing to meet local need.
- Help to improve the health and welfare of residents in the borough.
