Complaints about temporary accommodation
If you have any problems with your temporary accommodation please use the following procedures.
In Bed and Breakfast accommodation
Approach the manager/owner of the Bed and Breakfast to discuss your problems first, as they may be able to deal with your complaint. Regular visits are made to accommodation used by this Council to ensure that they meet legal standards.
In hostel accommodation
Contact the hostel warden to discuss your complaint
In short-term let accommodation
If you are in a short-term lease accommodation, contact the Property Team on 020 8891 7442 to discuss problems or arrange for repairs.
If the manager, owner, warden or Property Officer is unable to deal with your complaint, please call or write to your caseworker.
If you are in a Housing Association property you must contact your Housing Association to request any repairs, as they are responsible for ensuring they are carried out.
