Shared Lives Carers offer support and care to a person who has a learning disability or autism or are vulnerable. The support takes place in the Carer's own home.

Carers may offer a home to people on a long term basis or respite support which may be a day, weekend or a few weeks stay.

Here are two people who are carers and use the Shared Lives Scheme:

Who is it for?

It is for Adults aged 18 years and over and who live in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Shared Lives Carers will help you to:

  • Keep healthy and active
  • Learn new skills
  • Meet people
  • Enjoy hobbies and support you with activities
  • Manage your Money
  • Share domestic tasks like cooking and cleaning
