Respite is spending time away from your home or the people you usually live with. This gives you and your carers a break, to have a rest, or go out or go on holiday.
It is for adults with a learning disability who are 18 years old and over and live in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
There are different types of respite care. Egerton Road is a house in Twickenham, where you can stay overnight or for short breaks.
The leisure break service is run by Richmond Homes for Life Trust. Every month, a small group of people have an overnight stay away from the family home and are supported by staff.
