One Stop Shop

What is the One Stop Shop?

The One Stop Shop is a weekly drop-in for anyone who has experienced domestic abuse in Richmond upon Thames. The One Stop is held every Thursday at St John the Divine Church Hall, Kew Road, Richmond, from 10am to 1pm (a short walk from Richmond train station).

What support is available?

Being able to access to a wide range support is vital for anyone experiencing domestic abuse. At the One Stop Shop people can access:

  • Free support that is rapid and discrete;
  • Information about the options available to them (this can include assistance with legal issues, child contact arrangements, and problems with housing or debt, drug and alcohol abuse);
  • A range of agencies, including Victim Support, the Police, Refuge, Specialist Children Services and a local firm of solicitors.
  • Information on agencies outside Richmond Upon Thames

Who runs the One Stop Shop?

Victim Support in Richmond upon Thames runs the One Stop Shop, with funding from the Community Safety Partnership during 2007-2008. With support from the Metropolitan Police, a new range of publicity is now available. This includes posters, flyers and business cards. This publicity is available free of charge and can be ordered from Victim Support in Richmond upon Thames.
