Other sources of advice
Before you make any arrangements you may find it helpful to get information or advice from another organisation. For example, Age Concern produce an excellent factsheet called Finding Care Home Accommodation, and your local Citizens Advice Bureau or a solicitor can help you decide whether to make a private arrangement with a care home or to ask us for help.
If you would like us to help you arrange residential care you need to contact your local Social Care Team and ask for an assessment. In the assessment we will look at all the other options before deciding that a care home is the right choice.
