Day services
Types of day care for older people
There are two types of day care available for older people:
- Intensive Day Centres - specialist facilities for people who need long term therapy or support, rehabilitation or recuperation,
- Social Day Centres - for older people who do not have specialist needs, but would like to socialise and take part in activities.
Our service standards
This is what you can expect from our day services:
- There will be a range of activities available at your day centre that cater for a variety of interests.
- You will have a choice of lunchtime meals each day that you attend a day centre.
- You will have a key worker who takes the lead role in ensuring your needs are met.
