Richmond Transport Voucher Scheme

This scheme has been designed to offer a door to door reliable service using local taxi and minicab companies.

The scheme is funded by Richmond Council and administered by the Accessible Transport Unit.

Each member of the scheme is issued with books of vouchers which can be used for payment with approved companies. Each company has been vetted to ensure that the cars used are appropriately maintained, insured and licenced.

The scheme is designed to help people who may have a temporary disability or illness preventing them from using public transport and who need immediate short term assistance or people who are unable to use public transport because of a permanent disability and need door to door transport where arrival and collection times are critical.
