London Taxicard scheme
Richmond Council participates in the London Taxicard scheme. This scheme allows permanent residents of the borough who have a permanent disability and meet the eligibility criteria to travel in licenced taxis at a subsidised rate.
Currently taxicard holders in Richmond pay a flat fare of £1.50 plus any amount shown on the meter above £11.80.
The scheme uses Computer Cab to supply the taxis, once you are a member you can make use of the service by:
- Making a telephone booking
- Hailing a computer cab in the street, or from a rank
- Making an online booking
If you want to use the online booking service go to www.computercab.co.uk
Online booking also allows you to track your taxi progress online.
