Telecare

Telecare is the name given to describe a range of services that operate in an emergency using your home telephone line. This connects through to the 24 hour Careline Control Centre who will be able to provide the necessary response and get help on the way.

The service is provided by using a base unit that simply plugs into a telephone and electrical point. Various sensor triggers can be programmed to activate the base unit from with in the home to alert the Careline Control Centre of any problems.

The sensors can be for a number of situations for instance fall detectors if someone is prone to falling, a bath monitor if the bath overflows, smoke alarms, natural gas sensors, carbon monoxide sensors and heat sensors that can recognise a dramatic increase in temperature.
