Community Meals Service
It is vitally important that we all have nutritious meals to help meet our recommended allowance of five fruit and vegetables a day and to maintain healthy bodies and minds.
We understand that healthy eating may be difficult especially if you are unable to cook for yourself or purchase nutritional meals. One way of ensuring that you have at least one nutritional meal a day is by receiving Community Meals (formally known as Meals on Wheels).
The Community Meals Service delivers high quality frozen meals to older and vulnerable people in their own homes. Meals are subsidised by the Council and provided by Apetito, who have been vetted and approved by us. The meals are delivered by Wiltshire Farm Foods direct to your home.
Apetito offer a range of frozen meals to cater for many different dietary, health and cultural needs. Meal prices range from £3.10 for 2-courses from the Frozen and A La Carte menus to £5.40 for the Gourmet Range.
