What else can I do?

You can contact the Local Government Ombudsman at any time. The Ombudsman is part of Central Government and is independent of the council. They provide a free, impartial and confidential service.

What other help can I have?

You may want an advocate to help you make your complaint.

An advocate can be anyone. They can be a relative, friend or neighbour, and can come with you to meetings about your complaint. You can ask the Complaints Manager to help get an advocate for you. You can also discuss your complaint with the Complaints Manager at any time.

You can also get in touch with your local Councillor or Member of Parliament, who will contact Adult and Community Services for you.
