Hello, my name is Cathy Kerr I am the Director of Adult and Community Services for here London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Welcome to our Adult Social Care web pages which are designed with you in mind.  

The aim of these pages is to provide you with all the information you need, in an easy to navigate format, to ensure that you have choice and control over the care and support you receive.

Since we first launched the webpage’s back in October 2010, we have made a number of changes, which include the addition of our new easy to use online financial assessment calculator. The aim of this calculator is to give you  a guideline of how much you may need to pay towards the care services you receive; there is also information on the service standards are you can expect from us.

We are also providing information on organisations and community groups both local to Richmond and also based in other boroughs that provide support and services to cater to specific needs.  

Where possible we will also continue to provide British Sign Language and plain English videos so you can watch or listen if you prefer.

We are always looking at ways to improve the website and make the pages as user friendly as possible – I do hope you find them helpful. Our overall priority is to ensure the information you need is available, to give you choice and control over the care and support you receive.
