Partnerships with other organisations
Adult and Community Services works in partnership with NHS organisations, the local voluntary sector and other key public sector organisations to provide its services. We do this because by working together we believe we can make our services more effective and more efficient for local people.
Our partnership includes Richmond and Twickenham Primary Care Trust (RTPCT) and Richmond Council for Voluntary Service, which represents all local voluntary groups.
Organisations represented in the partnership include:
- Kingston and West Middlesex Hospitals,
- Kingston Primary Care Trust
- South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust
- Age Concern
- Three Wings Trust
- Richmond AID
We work with Council departments such as Education, and Children's Services; and other organisations with an interest in health and social care, such as Richmond Housing Partnership, Richmond Adult and Community College and the Metropolitan Police.
As a partnership we plan, consult on, and make decisions about services in a network known as the Joint Commissioning Structure
