When will I have a collection?
Collections are fortnightly find your collection dates. On joining the scheme we will post you a calendar of your collection dates.
Where should I leave my green waste for collection?
Please ensure containers (sacks and bins) are clearly visible from the road by 6am on the day of collection. green waste should be placed on the kerbside or as near to the kerbside as possible without causing an obstruction to vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians.
If you have placed anything other than green waste in your sack we will not be able to collect it.
Is there a limit to how many garden waste sacks and bins can be put out for collection?
There is no official limit to the amount of garden waste we collect as long as the specified containers are used because the cost of the containers pays towards the collection of the waste. However we would be concerned about large volumes from a single address as it could be green waste from a business which should be kept separate from household collections.
How is your waste recycled?
Garden waste from the collection scheme is processed by windrow composting.
