Compostable sacks for garden waste
You can buy individual 110 litre compostable green waste sacks at £1.40 each from
- All the borough libraries,
- The Civic Centre in Twickenham
- Townmead Road Re-use and Recycling Centre on Townmead Road, Kew.
If it is the first time you are using the garden waste collection service
Complete the registration form or phone the number on the sack to register your address, a calendar listing the collection dates for your road will be posted to you.
Order online
You can order the sacks online (in multiples of 10) and pay by credit/debit card, you will automatically be registered for collections and a calendar will be posted to you.
10 sacks cost £15.35 (£14.00 for the sacks with a £1.35 postage charge).
Sacks will be posted out in packs of 10 only so they are more likely to fit through a letterbox.

Collections are fortnightly and during hot weather the sacks may start to break down if left outside for over a week. Please be advised not to fill bags too far in advance of your collection. Check your collection day.
