Recycling garden waste at Townmead Road

Residents can recycle green garden waste for free by bringing it here by car* and depositing it in the designated garden waste recycling bay. Please empty waste out of storage containers, plastic bags and remove all plant pots, string and litter.

This is important as all garden waste collected will be recycled into compost and plastic cannot be composted. There is a charge for businesses to dispose of garden waste at this site.

*If you are bringing your waste in a van please read the guidance on the Townmead page.
