Purchase of wheelie bins for domestic collections
Richmond Council can supply you with a wheelie bin for you to purchase. These wheeled bins are made from green plastic and are a convenient way of safely and hygienically containing waste until it is collected.
They can only be used for the collection of your domestic waste from the curtilage of your own property. There are properties in the Borough without private areas to store a bin that will not able to purchase wheelie bins. Please refer to the guide to properties where bins and recycling containers may not be placed on the highway. Dustbins and wheelie bins are not permitted to be kept on the highway.
