Shredded paper recycling

Ways to recycle your shredded paper;

• Compost it at home in your compost bin in equal quantities with fruit/vegetable or other 'green' waste.
• Place in your blue box with heavier items on top such as magazines and newspapers to prevent it blowing away.
• Contain it in a paper bag and then place that in your blue box.
• Take to a local bring site and place in the enclosed paper recycling container.

Do not use plastic bags to put your shredded paper out for recycling collections because once the paper is collected from your house it goes straight to be recycled, there is no opportunity to remove any items that are not paper.
