Noise Mapping

The Noise Mapping England Project is the first stage in the development of a National Ambient Noise Strategy for England. The project aims to establish the environmental noise climate across England

The London Road Traffic Noise Map shows calculated levels of road traffic noise across the Greater London area. This has now been launched by the Department of Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and is fundamental to the Noise Mapping England project.
