Helicopter noise
The London Assembly has been investigating helicopter noise in London and published its findings in a report London in a spin - a review of helicopter noise. This comprehensive report makes some practical recommendations to the Government and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to improve the management of helicopter traffic and reduce environmental impact of helicopter noise.
For further information about helicopter activities the CAA has produced Environmental Information Sheets concerning aviation, sheet 7 relates to London Helicopter Procedures.
