Terminals and Runways

• Terminals 1 and 2 are being rebuilt as Heathrow East.
• Terminals 3 and 4 are being refurbished
• Terminal 5 is new
• Terminal 6 is approved in policy, but awaits a planning application and approval.

BAA claim that the new Heathrow East Terminal would not involve any net increase in passenger capacity. Plans for it to be ready for the 2012 Olympics now look unlikely.
