| 15 December 2000 | UDP First Review Deposit Draft and Post Deposit changes approved by Full Council for Development Control purposes. |

| 13 November 2001 | Full Council approved UDP First Review & Modifications for Development Control purposes, (formal deposit not undertaken pending further work on other matters). |
| Dec 2002 | Full set of proposed modifications agreed by Full Council on 17th December 2002 |
| January 2003 | Modifications put "on deposit" for public consultation from 03/01/03 until 14/02/03. Results of consultation and further changes reported to Cabinet on 25/03/03, to Overview & Scrutiny Committee on 01/04/03 and to Full Council on 08/04/03. |
| April 2003 | Further modifications put "on deposit" for public consultation from 22/04/03 to 03/06/03. Results were reported to Overview & Scrutiny Committee on 26th June 2003. |
| July 2003 | A set of pre-inquiry changes were subsequently agreed & presented to the Inspector. |
| August 2003 | Pre-inquiry changes resulting from Consultation on Crane Valley Masterplan put "on deposit" for public consultation from 1st August to 12th September 2003. |
| 1st July 2003 | Second public inquiry begins. The first session ends on 11th July. |
| October & December 2003 | The Inquiry resumed on 14th October until 16th October 2003. It began again on the 8th December and concluded on the 18th. It officially closed on 16th January 2004. |
| End of March 2004 | Inspector's Report into Second Inquiry received. |
