Unitary Development Plan (UDP)

The Unitary Development Plan (UDP), First Review, was adopted on 1 March 2005. Both the Written Statement and the Proposals Map are available as an online version.

Note that the UDP is gradually replaced by the Local Development Framework and policies in the UDP have already been superseded by the Local Development Framework Core Strategy and Development Management Plan (DMP).

As of 1 November 2011 (adoption date of the DMP), all policies contained within the UDP, with the exception of the UDP proposal sites and the policy on waste collection and disposal, have been superseded.
