Design Quality Supplementary Planning Document

As part of our commitment to Civic Pride and best practice, the Council has produced a Supplementary Planning Document - Design Quality.

This document provides the overall context for design guidance in the Borough. It should be taken into consideration when designing individual buildings, groups of buildings, redevelopment and infill schemes, extensions and even minor building works.

This will be important for members, officers and residents to ensure that development proposals which come forward are of the highest architectural and urban design quality and relate appropriately to their context.
