Wildlife and children
If you’re interested in wildlife you could join Wildlife Watch, the action club for young environmentalists aged between 8 and 14 years old.
Wildlife Watch is the junior branch of the Wildlife Trusts and is made up of a network of local groups, run by qualified volunteers who organise environmental activities for children throughout the country. It aims to encourage children to learn about and enjoy the environment in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Do you want to go on a bat walk, go pond dipping or create homes for wildlife? These are just some of the exciting activities you can take part in with Wildlife Watch. You can also take part in important wildlife surveys such as Treewatch or the great stag beetle hunt and make valuable contributions to scientific research.
