Conservation Areas
At present there are 72 Conservation Areas in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Each Conservation Area is accompanied by a Conservation Area Statement, which explains why and when it was designated, plus a short history and a map showing the Conservation Area boundary.

Please note
Not every Conservation Area has an accompanying Conservation Area Study. This is a lengthy ongoing programme. Conservation Area Studies, which have been completed, are available for purchase from the Council.
