Change your world - the results

The winners of the Change your world vote were announced by Councillor Liz Jaeger at the Celebration of Achievement event on 30 June 2009 and are as follows:

  • Barnes, Mortlake and Kew: Skate park and BMX track
  • Ham and Richmond: Sports multi-use games area
  • Whitton and West Twickenham: Whitton Youth Café
  • Hampton: Hampton Youth Project kitchen and IT room development
  • Twickenham, St Margarets and Teddington: King’s Field skate park

Funding will also be available for the best runner-up – a new hall at Heatham House in Twickenham.

Thank you to everyone that took part in the vote, we received an unprecedented 11,000 votes overall. Planning will now start for the chosen projects to be created so watch this space!
