Richmond Carers Centre – Young Carers Service
- Does anyone in your family have a physical disability, learning difficulty, a problem with drugs or alcohol, affected by a mental health condition or has a long term illness that means they can’t do the things they used to do?
- Do you help them to manage at home, often by doing tasks and jobs an adult would usually? Responsibility for other members of your family, like a younger brother or sister.
- Are you worried about them and what might happen now or in the future?
- Does this stop you doing things with your mates or stuff outside school?
- Does this affect your life at school? Are you often late or can’t hand homework in on time?
If you think this could be you then check us out at Young Carers. We can give you individual support, provide group activities during school holidays and liaise with your school to make sure you get the support you need.
