Applying for an infant or primary school reception class or Year 3 junior school place

If you want your child to attend a Richmond Borough school (whether community or church), you should contact the headteacher of the school you prefer who will register your child's name and send you the borough's common application form, and other literature, at the correct time.

If you complete and return the common application form on time, you will be sent a letter to let you know the outcome of your application towards the end of March. You should note that attendance in a nursery class does not guarantee a place in the reception class of that school. Alternatively, for Reception class places only, you will be able to apply online.
