Training for prospective governors

The Local Authority provides a comprehensive development programme through Governor Support. It is strongly recommended that all governors attend the National Training Programme for Governors as this provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of governorship.

Through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Governors, various courses are available to all our governors to help and support them in their role. Our CPD Schedule is sent to all governors with each termly mailing and is also available online.
