Early Years and Childcare Provider Forum
The Early Years and Childcare Provider Forum meets regularly to debate and consult with childcare providers on a broad range of issues, including nursery education funding, staff training or government consultation papers. The Forum works to the following principles:
- Integrated high quality inclusive services for children aged 0 to 14 years
- Safe environments for all children to play and learn
- The provision of free nursery education for three and four year olds
- Services that are accessible to all families
- Services that support the professional development of all childcare workers
These principles uphold the outcomes framework of Every Child Matters: Change for Children, which are:
- Stay Safe
- Be Healthy
- Enjoy and Achieve
- Making a positive contribution
- Economic Wellbeing
