Area Special Educational Needs Coordinators (Area SENCos)

Area Special Educational Needs Coordinators (Area SENCOs) provide advice, support and training for staff in private, voluntary and independent settings and promoting inclusion for children who have a range of special educational needs.

Area SENCos may work alongside staff in settings to demonstrate and model strategies for supporting individual children. The Area SENCos are based at Windham - a Partnership for Children, Windham Road, Richmond.

Windham is a joint partnership between Specialist Children's Services (Social Services), Education, Health and the Three Wings Trust (a voluntary group).
