Family learning guidance and applications

These are links to guidance documents that provide information on all aspects of family learning. From a basic overview of the need and benefits of family learning provision (including Family Literacy Language and Numeracy (FLLN) programmes) to a more structured and detailed guide to the courses.

The guidance documents also give an indication of how Family Learning fits into the overall government and local Adult and Community Learning strategies.

There are specific target groups for Family Learning provision: these have been identified both nationally and locally through an analysis of learners' needs .

There are various funding opportunities that schools/community groups/organisations will be able to benefit from, from the provision of Family Learning programmes, which include funding for crèche/childcare facilities for your learners.

Downloadable application forms are available on the applications page.
