Richmond 14-19 Partnership
In each section you will find current information and documents from all working groups developing the 14-19 strategy.
Our aim is to broaden and improve opportunities for young people by expanding post-16 provision, broadening choice at 14-16 and developing 14-19 progression pathways.
The Partnership:
- Co-ordinates delivery of the new Diplomas at 14-19
- Designs and co-ordinates alternative educational programmes for 14-16 year olds who benefit from 'learning through doing' outside of the school environment
- Facilitates networks of schools and colleges working together to improve standards and create more learning opportunities for Richmond upon Thames 14-19 year olds
- Advises schools on aspects of work related learning
- Promotes work-based learning routes amongst young people and employers in Richmond upon Thames
- Co-ordinates the publication of the Richmond upon Thames post-16 course booklet (Choices
(pdf, 1691KB)) - Helps schools to implement new vocational courses to meet the needs of their students
- Builds links between schools, colleges and businesses to enrich the curriculum and make their students more aware of the business world
- Supports students, parents and carers with timely information, advice and guidance (IAG)
