About the London Development Agency
The London Developent Agency is one of nine Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) established by the Government to promote economic development in England. It is funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), but has a structure different to that of the other RDAs due to its relationship with the Mayor in respect of Board appointments, strategy setting, reporting and our membership of the Greater London Authority Group, which also includes the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority, the Metropolitan Police Authority and Transport for London.
