Government Office for London

It is the role of the Government Office for London to represent central Government in London. It is the official channel for delivering policies and programmes in the London region on behalf of nine central Government Departments. The majority of its budget is made up of the grant given to the Greater London Authority and its functional bodies, Transport for London and the London Development Agency.
