- 98% strongly/agreed their Polling Station was in a suitable venue
- 47% knew about the new security measures for postal voting
- 98% received their official poll card
- 97% knew everyone must register each autumn on household forms
- 49% aware that electoral infomation is on council website
North Richmond by-election 27th January 2005 (40 responses)
- 100% strongly/agree that polling station staff were helpful and well informed
- 98%+ found out about the election via their poll cards
- 98% aware of the option to vote by post
- 95% thought polling station was a suitable venue
- 95% knew they have to register each year on the forms we send out every Autumn
- 63% found out about the election via political party visits/leaflets
- 58% aware of electoral info available on council website
Hampton by-election 7th October 2004 (42 responses)
- 99%+ strongly/agree that polling station staff were helpful and well informed
- 93% Strongly/agreed that polling station was easy to find and conveniently located
- 95%+ found out about the election via their poll cards
- 93% aware of the option to vote by post
- 92% knew they have to register each year on the forms we send out every Autumn
- 64% found out about the election via political party visits/leaflets
- 50% aware electoral information available on council website

- 98% strongly/agreed that polling station staff helpful and well informed
- 98% strongly/agreed that polling station was easy to find and conveniently located
- 82% didn’t use/like the Council election website
