Voting while living abroad

If you are a British Citizen living overseas you are entitled to vote in Parliamentary and European Elections for up to 15 years after moving abroad.

In order to register as an overseas voter you will need to contact the electoral registration office at the local council covering the address where you were last registered to vote within the UK.

To register as an overseas elector based on an address in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames, download an application form(pdf, 140KB).

Please read all notes before completing the form as you need to be abroad at the time of your application and have a British Passport Holder who is not your relative sign it.
