Non-British citizens electoral registration
If you require another language other than English
It is not just British citizens who are able to register to vote in the UK. All European Union and Commonwealth Citizens living here can and must register to vote. Find out more about the eligible countries. People from other countries cannot register to vote.
All voting materials are in English only as this is the law, however guidance notes in other languages may be supplied.
Community language forms
Remember that to be eligible you must be a full citizen of the UK, Ireland, a Commonwealth Country or a European Union Country, not just have the right to live or remain here.
If you need a registration or postal vote application form in another language, you can find these forms in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, French, Gujarati, Hindi, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi and Urdu on the aboutmyvote.co.uk (The Electoral Commission) website.
