Electoral boundaries
Any changes to electoral boundaries are made by an independent body: The Boundary Commission for parliamentary boundaries and the Boundary Committee for local government boundaries. The last Boundary Review was carried out in 2001
To find out your current electoral areas and normal polling station, please see the Ward Finder. Please check your poll card at each election as sometimes buildings are not available and we have to use alternatives.
Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
In 2006 new regulations required all Local Authorities to review their polling districts and polling places by the end of 2007, and on a four yearly basis thereafter. Find out more about the review here.
